About the Author
Micheal L. Larimer
Micheal L. Larimer was born on March 27, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa, and spent his formative years in Lenox, Iowa, until 1972. He graduated from Liberal High School in Missouri in 1975.
In July 1975, Micheal began his dedicated service in the U.S. Army, where he achieved the Spec5 (E5) rank and earned an Army Commendation Medal during his service until August 1978. Afterward, he utilized the GI Bill to further his education at the Computer Learning Center from 1979 to 1980, earning an AIT (Associates in Information Systems) in Computer Programming.
Throughout his professional journey, Micheal’s career primarily focused on the Washington, D.C. – Baltimore, MD corridor. However, he held assignments in various locations, including Orlando, FL; Salt Lake City, UT; New Orleans, LA; Dallas, TX; Omaha, NE; Kansas City, MO; Harrisburg, PA; Grand Forks, ND; and Metro Manila, Philippines.
In January 2004, Micheal met his future wife, Falencia, while she was working as a radio producer and broadcaster for Radio Veritas Asia in Metro Manila, Philippines. Their relationship culminated in marriage in June 2004 in Quezon City, Philippines. Since 2010, they have resided in Lamar, MO (Grammarly, 2025).
